Psalm 123:3 Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy on us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
Many times in life, there will be struggles, but who is here with us to help us and encourage us? The answer - God is. He is always with you. So let's pray to him in times of trouble. Sometimes we need to cry to someone for help, and we can cry to the Lord for help. When we have failed or are struggling, we can ask God to have mercy on us. Wow! What an amazing promise. When we sin, we can also look up to heaven and cry to the King of Kings.
What's so amazing about this? God's grace is abounding with love. If you ask God to forgive you with a penintent heart and turn away from your sins, God's grace and love will blot out your sin. Your relationship will be restored with Him.
Today I encourage you to pray to God. Spend time with Him throughout the day. If you have sinned, pray to God to forgive you. Make sure you are truly sorry for your sins. If you are going through a difficult trial, ask God to help you, and His Spirit will comfort you.
