Dear TLM Member, It has come time to shut down Truth and Love Ministries, at least temporarily. Where I am spiritually is not in a place where I can effectively run Truth and Love Ministries. I need to take at least two weeks to spend time in prayer and consider redesigning the website as well as considering expanding the TLM Team to be a team again if that is what the Lord wills. Unfortunately, I can't say and details about that right now and will send out an email when TLM is ready to relaunch. Sometime after 3 tomorrow, the Truth and Ministries website will go down. I'll reassess what parts of TLM need to stay and what parts need to go. More importantly, while the website is down, I'll be spending time catching up in school and spending time with the Lord. Dear members of Truth and Love Ministries: I am sad to announce that Rebecca Reenders is resigning from her position on the Truth and Love Ministries team effective as of January 27, 2020. “Members of TLM, I have been writing blog posts for you to read for a while now, and I hope that you have gathered some encouragement from my posts. Unfortunately, I am resigning from my position on the TLM team, and I will not be writing blog posts regularly anymore. I’m glad that writing these posts has been part of my life, but now it’s time for me to move on to a new season of life. Dear reader, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!  This season we get to be thankful for what God has given us: a free country, His Son, His Holy Spirit, a great 2019, and an upcoming 2020!  We are thankful for God's work this year from Finding Focus 2019, the Blog Book 2018, and the experiences that inspired the various blog posts. We have one last major project for 2019, and that is selling shirts to raise money for a child at Rancho de Sus Niños (RDSN).  I am grateful for God to give me the opportunity to serve Him in Mexico.  While I was there, I saw a little child, who was so cute and funny.  God put on my heart to take home his info card, and now we want to support him to have a good education, good living conditions, and most of all to be raised in Christ. We will be selling 50 shirts with the TLM logo sharing our overall mission and the mission of this project: to support the raising of children in Christ.  For this reason, 80% of the profits will go to support this child at RDSN, and the other 20% will go towards TLM costs so that these projects are much easier. So let's help this young boy out this holiday season! Dear reader, Happy June!  June is a wonderful month!  It's the beginning of summer!  The school year is ending!  This is great! What about pride month?  TLM stands for Truth and Love Ministries.  In order to address the LGBT community, we need to look at what the Bible says, and we'll relate it to God's truth and love. The Bible defines marriage as between one man and one woman.  In Genesis 1:24, God said "that a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."  Never in the Bible does God bring two men together or two women together to become one flesh.  In fact, the God calls such acts an abomination (Leviticus 20:13).  In Romans 1:18-32, Paul describes the wicked behavior of men and women. Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; ' Romans 1:25-28 The truth is that God calls homosexuality an abomination, and we must live according to what the Word of God says. The next part of our name is love.  While we know that such a practice is sinful, we must also declare the truth in love.  We know that even though such people are in sin, the Bible also declares that God loves all people.  Romans 3:23 says that "all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."  Just like we were once trapped in sin, they are also trapped in their sin.  However, God also says in John 3:16 that He "so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  We believe that if anyone, even a homosexual, lets go of his sin (that includes homosexuality) and believes in his heart and confesses with his mouth that Jesus rose from the dead and is Lord, he will be saved.  The sinner's sin is not okay and must be let go in order to receive the gift of salvation, but it is because of God's preexisting love that one is able to be saved. So in short, Truth and Love Ministries does not believe that homosexuality is okay, but all are loved by God.  If a homosexual lets go of his sin and surrenders his life to the Lord, he will be saved. So, this month, we will continue to serve the Lord and love others.  I know that I can definitely work on showing others love.  As I grow in my walk with Jesus, I will continue to represent TLM's goal - to bring God's truth in love.  I'm not where I want to be at doing this, but I'm not where I was at the beginning of the school year. Dear TLM website member, A couple weeks ago, I announced that Janelle would no longer be a part of Truth and Love Ministries (TLM). Her blog posts will still remain on the website, and you can read a few of here posts in the Blog Book 2018. After praying and talking with each other, we are glad to announce our new TLM team member! Her name is Tania, and she is a caring and loving friend that I have known since the beginning of my freshman year in high school. Tania’s bio and picture will be available on the About page soon. This summer, the schedule will once again change. A blog post will come out every week until August 18. In August, we will announce the new release schedule for the school year. You can every blog post on the TLM website on the blog page. We will also have two guests writing for us during this summer. One will be my friend Jaylin, and the other will be announced soon. Dear reader, The Blog Book 2018 project has gone really well!  It was tough to get to the goal, but God worked everything out!  Thank you so much to those who have purchased it!  If you would like to purchase the book, you still have until Friday to do so. Dear website member, The wait for Truth and Love Ministries is finally over! Truth and Love Ministries is up and running! Jeremiah Home Site is no longer the primary website. The new URL is https://jmyonemura.wixsite.com/tlministries. Let me explain the ministry and the all the new changes as well as the core ministries. The Forum The old discussion page is gone, and you can now engage in conversation with different posts in the forum. You can also create public prayer requests if you so desire. The announcements page is also located within the forum. Submit a Prayer Request We believe in the power of prayer. Jesus says, “Ask of Me, and you will receive.” The Bible also says to give thanks to the Lord. So, if you have a prayer request that you want to share privately, you can submit one at this brand new page, and we will pray over the prayer requests. If you have a praise, we will join you in the giving of thanks to the Lord. Blog Not much has changed to the blog. We will post once every two weeks. The first post will be on “God’s Soft Voice.” These posts are still here to encourage you to live in godliness by spreading God’s “Truth and Love.” The change is a design change to make it more sleek and more mobile friendly by removing the clutter.
